Hey guys, i recently returned to royals. i thought i quit for good last time but ended up returning. When i quit i gave away items of value 10b+ to shiratsuyu, cant remember exactly everything but i remember two alche rings worthh 5b+, and a shield i scrolled myself. Now when returning do you think it's normal human decency to hand back one, not everything, and its only a small part consisting of the whole giveway?
I only want the shield back because it meant alot to me i made it myself, of course i udnerstand the decision lies with her, its unconditional donation but still. When asking for it back she totally ignores and even pretending not to exist.
Sure learned my lession, but surely since everything was uncoinditionally given away it must be reasonable that at least one little small part of it could be handed back?
of course i learned a lesson, and would furthermore in future just recommend everyone else if donating items when quitting, do it to someone u know is decent human being at lest.

It's probably expected that you get it all back, because if you were kind enough to give a person the items, it is expected from the person to show the same kindness.
Personally - I wouldn't feel comfortable holding any of these while u are still playing, especially when u need it, let alone ignoring you.
    But hey, lesson learned right?

P.S good job on naming the person, I think it's very important (I'm actually serious)

yeah sure did, like i wasnt even rly good friends with her or anything before quitting, just came back and saw her online i saw fellow swedish player and i tohught good to dono to her, could have been anyhone but probably should have given away to someone close instead, but still most of them quit before me so, but yeah.
getting everything back is way too much too demand imo, like she probably sold most stuff but she kept hte shield, like she almost lvl 200 player she prob 100b+ net worth player and shouldnt be any large problem giving it back, but subhumans everywhere

Yes, she could return it to you but she's under no obligation.
When you give something away, chances are you'll never see it again, sort of lending money to your friend.
As unfortunate as this was, i hope this was a lesson learnt for you. I left the game some years back but still keep my gears with me.

I am holding attacker items donated by a friend and I would gladly give them back instantly if he comes back to we can play together again.

I would also give back the stuff of a stranger, but it would not come so naturally to be honest.

Still, "buddies > gear" could also apply to "everyone is happy > gear"

I am not obligated to give anything back to you, as those were gifts. I really appreciate it, but I did give you an answer in game. I did ignore you after that since I hate confrontations, but I did respond to you, and I can prove it if you wanna pretend I didn't. I recorded the confrontation since I was certain you wouldn't let this go that easily.

If I am not obligated to give gifts back you gave me many months ago and you acknowledges that, why are you making such a big deal about it?

You also said in this thread that I am not a decent human being. You told my guildmate in-game that I have no compassion for others, too.

Is this coming from the guy that after being in my guild for a day, told my guildmates my guild is shit behind my back? Is this coming from the guy that relooted maple leafs at maple hill for no reason, so some people were left without any? All that happened a few days prior to this, making me feel even less obligated to give anything back to you, to be honest.

I do not want to give the shield back. Think what ever you want about me for it, but I don't want to. That is my final answer. I would recommend you to remove this thread, or if you wish to pursue this further, feel free to do so. I have the entire confrontation recorded and PM's from you.

Man lesson learnt, pass gears/ give to ppl u really know well and can be trusted, not everyone are as kind as you to do a give away to things that you might not need, needless to say returning it, but very sadly to say its trust issues, might be quite a big price to pay for a lesson on ur side :(

Unless there is evidence of an agreement that you expect those items to be handed back to you by the end of the break she has every right to keep them.

I try to always advise against dropping items when quitting or loaning them to players you are not familiar with, Just like you said you guys didn't know each other well and that is probably was the decisive factor in her decision making.

Even though most people would return the item it's your decision to who you give your items to and therefore your responsibility in case they are not willing to give it back.

To me, it seems like there are some unresolved issues you two have that perhaps would be better to deal with face to face instead of on a public forum thread. Get together and sort this out 0:)

Dont give away items when you need them back in the future, simple as that. Shira has no obligation at all to give the items back.

Even more so, it seems you're actually trying to shame a person with this pseudo question.

This conflict has no place in the forum as it's something between you two.

I think that sums it up pretty good. I'm closing this thread as I see no further reason for it to continue on a public forum.
