I could never find a way to make use of mousekeys while dropping mesos. What are you using it for exactly?

 

Instead of clicking with your mouse to drop mesos, I click num5. o.o

 

Voodoos, The Forest of Golem, Soul Teddies, Straw Test Dummies, Luster Pixie, Minor Zombie/Flyeye, Selkie Jr. and Pac Pinky are going to be areas I'm going to test out. I'll come back to you with hourly rates. Keep in mind that I'm using above average gear.

 

I heard a rumor that you can get banned for typing in 000005000 when you are dropping. I need to do this because you get 5000500050 instead and my dropping method doesn't work. Any input on this?

 

I can't hold down paste that way because pressing another key breaks the hold I have on CTRL + V. Is that unique to my keyboard/settings?

 

I think some keyboards have the option to use several keys at once (mine does, at least); some don't, though. Then you shouldn't use mouse keys or bind your paste (Ctrl+V) to a single key so you can alternate those 2 keys (num5 and your paste key).

I'll divide the dropping techniques section up into two parts: one with mouse keys and one without.

Would scrolling a top with STR be better then LUK or is there a better way of getting STR? If you have a zhelm silver star and maple leaf that would only be 20 str.

 

Scrolling it with LUK will mean you don't have to buy AP resets to reset the STR to LUK. LUK top scrolls are also more common, to be honest, and LUK on a thief top will definitely sell a lot better, since there's more NLs than shadowers.

Just add base STR, you're normally good to go between 40 and 50 already. I have 47 STR base, for example:

 

What about Maple Warrior? Might not be a huge difference in DPS, but there is a difference nonetheless. Personally, I would be that guy that wanted to streamline the scrolling process, but there are some that would like to get the most damage possible for their money.

 

Maple Warrior applies on bonus stats, as well. Therefore it wouldn't matter.

Welp my bad. Then yes, scrolling with STR would give you an advantage, but then you have a lower base STR, meaning you have to put more points into STR without MW to get to 75 STR with MW. In the end, you could possibly only get about 1 LUK, really, if you scrolled your top with STR instead of LUK, but then you can't sell it, either.

Side note:

Kind of odd, for my STR the MW stats resemble it without bonus stats (47*1.05+26), but for my LUK, it's ([688+72]*1.05). o-o

Well, right now it's +47 STR with MW.

I have...

• Zakum Helmet (+16)
• Horntail Pendant (+25)
• Dragon Khanjar (+5, doesn't matter really)
• +1 from Maple Warrior

As you can see, I get my only STR from the items that give all stats (The Dragon Khanjar STR doesn't count, since it's the only reason I need 75 STR, so I just end up with 80).

 

Hi my IGN is neily, I have just been playing Maple Royal for couple of days and thank to my fellow maplers I am able to reach lv 72.

I registered to this forum just to post this: thank you very much for your shadow guide, i just learnt a lots. But there are still many confusion when i tried to interpret the info, just a couple of questions I would like to ask:

1) I m a lv 72 unfunded Bandit, where should i farm?
2) There are bugs with Shadower's skills, have they been fixed yet?
3) I read the other guide about end-game weapons, it mentioned a bug with Boomerang Step causing not worthy to perfect a dagger. May I ask what is that bug? And has it been fixed?
