This will be my first patch as a member of Royals. Is there a process to updating the files? Or is it just like 1.) Download patch updated and 2.) Insert them into the folder? Thanks in advance.

 

Ye, what i do is i download all the new individual wz. Files, then you just simply replace the old wz. Files which you have in your mapleroyals folder right now, and dd the new ones. If it doesnt work after that(sometimes happens) just download the mapleroyals setup.

When the files are released:
For those wondering how to download individual WZ files I would recommend looking at the guide I put up quite awhile ago for macs, it's similar to windows where you just download the files and drag the new files into your mapleroyals folder (make sure to replace the file when you download them).

 

Can we just download the ones specified as December Patch and replace?

For those of you that are like me and download these files via Google Chrome, Chrome will not allow you to download the new MapleRoyals.exe. To download the newest installer, you have to go to your Settings>Advanced Options>Privacy then uncheck the box labeled "Enable phishing and malware protection" and download the new MapleRoyals.exe. Once you've downloaded it, make sure to turn that protection back on.

Those of you who are curious on what files to download/replace, they are listed here (7 in total):

• Etc.wz
• Item.wz
• Map.wz
• Mob.wz
• Npc.wz
• String.wz

 

It also says next to the file 'December Patch"
