Small annoying issue

So whenever I exit out the the game client my screen turns black, and I have to click a bunch of times in random places for it to go back to my normal desktop. It's not really a huge problem, but it can be annoying when disconnecting from the servers multiple times.
BTW: I am using the mac client, and was wondering if any other mac users or even windows had this annoyance.

Never heard of that problem, but it might have something to do with the MAC Client or just the client/Files ingeneral. I know I had alot of issues when I was running with an old client, so hopefully after patch is up make sure you download the new client and try.

Also another thing you could try is putting the game in windowed mode before exiting with ALT+Enter, or in settings.
And another thing I'd check is making sure the compatibility it correct with your operating system. (Keep in mind I don't know much about Macs)

 

I have same issue when using mac, takes some time before you can close it.

 

Happens for about 10 seconds to me on mac while the "client" waits for the add that's supposed to come up when you quit game. Are you getting something worse than that? I don't have to do much random clicking, but I do have to spam the escape key or spam the red close window button.

Protip:
Use the alliance tab on purpose when you're going to quit to crash your client and this doesn't happen.

 

I'm personally using a PC so I'm not sure what you may be referring to, but I'd just like to confirm that this problem is most likely exclusive for Macs.

 

The client is designed specifically for macs. And I already tried alt+enter, it still goes black.

 

Hmm, well I don't know too much about Macs. Just thought windowed may help. If this is happening to all Mac users than you may need to take it up with a GM or Dev.
