With the reputation that he has I dont believe Buccaneer here is lying, but I don't think accepting Anonymous offers is good practice. I've seen quite a lot of people create fake offers so I would personally never bid on an item with an anonymous bidder and I would not allow for anonymous bids on my items
You must not understand, 12 white scrolls amasses to an incredible display of wealth of over 4 billion mesos! For someone to offer so much on just a single item, they'd be crazy to give away their identity.
Pretty sure the #1 reason people place anonymous bids is to try to scare others away and win an item for a cheaper amount than they could without the anonymous bid. Clearly this has worked in this case
