IGN: karmadon, Rylae Problem: Account hacked Details: logged in after a week not playing and found my characters are naked, logged out at fm. The 2 characters in the accounts with valuables are naked, the junks are still there. I am very sure my account is accessed by someone else because I remember very clearly where I logged out. karmadon: henesys, Rylae: Ludibrium. And there is no reason at all for me to transfer my items to another character because that is the only bowman character I have. Mesos are untouched, but 1mil NX are all missing, leaving behind 18k NX. Based on this, I could guess the hacked happend on Friday as there are many accounts hacked threads on Friday. Items lost are: Karmadon: 3wa PGC, 5 slots 120wa White Nisrock, 0 slot Blue Azura (M), 20Str, 12LUK, 0 slot (if i remember the stats correctly) and many others including few hundred Mil worth scrolls. Rylae: bathrobe (F) 17 INT, 0slots Green Bandana, 16 INT, 0slot Wooden Wand, 6INT, 0 slot Red Marker, 6INT, 0 slot Is there anyway to track or recover my items?
For the GMs - I'm going to guess they spent his NX on AP resets, since I don't remember any of those accounts doing any Gaching recently!
from what i observed, there was a massive hacking going on on 21/7, and there was also an update on that day. Is there a correlation between them? ie: some sort of data leak during the update, causing so many accounts to be vulnerable to hackers
There would be no data leak as a result of an update. At this time, there is no indication of any sort of data leak or data exfiltration on our end. This issue is still being actively investigated.
So is there any chance my loss can be recovered? the situation that many accounts got hacked on the same day suggests something fishy is going on
We can't do anything until we've had more time to investigate and figure out what occurred. I agree that several hackings happening on the same day is odd.

not surprised, in real, would a robber rob a rich or poor guy? I estimate my loss in this occasion to be 7b. how are the admins going to refund this?

The refund was already confirmed, I'm pretty sure they know it puts them at the end but they also want to get some update since it was awhile now without any info from gms. They could probably better priv msg gm like I did but tbh I didn't get an answer myself nor did people who asked just for update few days ago. It's normal everyone is getting worried. Also about the hack itself I believe it was random if it wasn't they could hack players who got good 50b on their accounts while they hacked players who only had like 200m.
It's not about poor or rich. All their hacked account usually had average eq, but huge amount of NX storage, they looked into NX amount of each account instead of how wealth the player has with their assets.
I had 30k nx so I doubt it, like gm said in announcement they just got random info of some accounts, some had more money like me some had more nx but I believe it was all random. Who knows tho what rly happened
That's even harder to prevent possible future hacks DAMN! implement the item locker might help a bit, hopefully they can find out how the info leaked.
