Closed Ban problem

Today I went out of town, so in order to keep my spot on fm i asked a friend to log in from his computer. The hours passed and he tried to vote for nx and he couldn't.

He asked a gm, and told what have happened. The gm asked for my log in ID and told my friend it was a fault to share accounts. We are honest people, who play fair and didn't know about this rule. Which I assume as a mistake.

Anyway, maybe it's my fault for not reading all the rules. But the punishment is 30 days of ban for the "shared" account, but my friend, who doesn't have anything to do in this, was banned too. He is strickban.

I expect someone to fix this. Because strickban account was never "shared". He just enter a couple of minutes to my account the one that should be ban if you are to attached yo the rules.

And i want to say that i think this is kind of infair. My friend asked a gm for help, and we got banned for something minor.

I hope you can understand the situation, we were just two friends having fun in your server. I asked for a favor. And now we are banned for a month.

I want to know why was he banned. Ban me for not knowing the rules and give my id to my friend. But his account was never used in any other ip adress. It was never " shared". I just want justice for him.

 

If you don't take this lightly, you should check for people who log in from different ip adress into a same account more than once.

A reasonable punishment should be a warning, we didn't know about the rule. My friend even told the GM that we shared account which demostrate we weren't aware of it, in any other way you couldn't find out, he just logged for a few minutes.

I really don't care much about me, but i feel guilty because my friend's account have nothing to do with this. It's true that he as a person was envolved, but where in the rules stipulates that his account should be banned too.

I just ask for some comprehension. It was nice to play in this server. But there are certain rules that should be modified.

Unfortunately, ignorance is not an excuse. When you register an account, it very clearly states that by registering the account you agree to the Terms and Conditions (a link is provided in that statement) of the server.

 

Yeah ok, we all accepted them. But there's no rule that said that my friend's account should also be ban. That's what it's wrong. The only "shared" account was mine and I and only I have to be ban according to your rules.
