I'm from the UK and I used VPN so I can bypass the imgur ban in my country to browse the forums areas and most pictures weren't readable, when I reviewed the T&C, I didn't see that VPN wasn't permitted? I can disable it, try playing again and only use VPN when I want to be checking out the forums. But I will just wait for your reply before trying again incase I'm doing something wrong. You are not banned. I cannot immediately see what the issue is, but I suspect it is related to your use of a public VPN/proxy server (based on the IP address you used to register your forum account). Ok thanks, what would be your advice to do now? Just play normally without VPN and only use it when I go onto the Forums? I cannot remember whether I was on VPN or not when I registered for Forums sorry.
I think it was on when you registered, but is not now? What VPN are you using? Can you connect to the game without the VPN?
I only turn it on for accessing forums, it's on now. But I noticed that I cannot get past login through VPN, well it didn't work last night anyway but it might work this time if I try another EU country to connect with. I can play fine without VPN, just as I did last night in maple island. I was just wondering on a practical level what I should do going forward, initially I thought I was banned for using VPN but it seems that's not the case. I'll try to test it on different scenarios maybe tomorrow. I use Kaspersky - comes free with my AV sub.
Free VPNs are no good for the game as most of the IP addresses are banned due to hackers previously using them. Just turn it off while playing Royals or get a paid one.
Ok thanks for your help Heidi, I'm going to play today without VPN but will look into a paid VPN as well so I'm not disadvantaged on seeing the content here.
