Everytime I enter singapore (even the monster maps) my client crashes with no error message. It works fine when i'm on my mac but when i'm on my bootcamp windows 8 it crashes. All my files are up to date.

I'd say just stick with the mac client and only use bootcamp if you have to boss, want to slime, etc. I'm on mac myself and I can't get my mac to run with parallels or any or VM so I'd be happy to just use bootcamp for when you really need it.
