Error

i always get this problem when downloading the client. Does anyone know the solution to this problem??

 

Pretty sure this happend when you have you anti-virus /windows defender on. Are you dowload the game when one of those are on?

 

yes, oh do i have to turn them off?

 

I tried to turn off the windows defender but all I see is this. and i tried to use local group policy editor after downloading it because my computer did not have it for some reason and it did not have a setting like it was shown on the google search.

 

Open Windows Defender and follow these steps:

1) Press the "Virus & Threat protection settings" tab
2) Turn off Real-time protection
3) Download and install MapleRoyals
4) Once installed, find "Exclusions" on the same tab and add your entire MapleRoyals folder there

After doing the above, you may turn Real-time protection back on and shouldn't encounter that error when opening Royals anymore.
