So I've zaked two times on my sair and both times I've dc'ed due to fast attack. It has only happened at zak but never at krex. I've krexed at least 5 times on my sair so far and I've never had a problem with fast attack there. I run on vmware when I do zak runs. Other sairs I've talked to never dc to fast attack, even at zak. @Kivin says I'm dcing "because u sux" (I'm going to kill you Kev...). Am I doing it wrong? or...is it a computer problem? or...am I just unlucky?? or...do i really suck?
As far as I know from my own corsair which has dc'd a lot in the past to fast attack, It can only happen if a boss attacks you at the same time as you attacking him. So if you go on a Krexel run where the aggro isn't set to a mule, and Krexel will attack you, you can actually dc to fast attack (we have tested this with duo corsair runs on Krexel). From those tests I've concluded that it has to be when a boss attacks you back. Where for corsairs it usually happens with battleship cannon, and bowmasters with hurricane.
so...what you're telling me is, go on the zak run, but dont attack and just leech the exp/reloot helm?
On my bowmaster I've only ever had fast atk d/c's at zak. It happens when I'm spamming hurricane, and I get some type of lag (client sided lag, not server sided lag), typically due to the bishop using genesis while there are lots of summons present on the screen. The way around this would be to reduce your lag - kill the summons faster (party with a stronger hero/DrK), have a better internet connection, and/or ask your bishop not to genesis. Zak's attacks might also be causing a little bit of lag for you, but it shouldn't be significant enough (or isnt for me at least) to cause this problem unless its compounded by the above factors.
