Come on guys and girls, we're all grown-ups (for the most part) in this game and I believe that we probably need to be of a certain mature age if we want to play our nostalgic childhood game to relive a fragment of our memories I suppose. I haven't bothered updating with any new post since 2019 but here's one that I'll write in to counter my ban that I just received for allegedly "harassing" an individual player, which wasn't even my intention to make provocative statements but apparently turned out that way for that particular person who decided that I should be reported and now subsequently banned for perhaps saying something that might be a little inappropriate depending on how you look at it. Was I trying to be nasty, not exactly I don't think so at all? However, since I'm banned for now, I suggest that it's quite sinister of that person to report me for something that I feel shouldn't be taken so heavily into account perhaps. I would've just kept quiet if I'm told to stop with a prior warning, I'd say sure. Been playing since 2013 and I'm well passed veterancy in terms of years played and we're bound to meet or interact with all sorts of people from various backgrounds which will probably also include weird or even awful players every now and then. It's a part of being online in game, you can either avoid or ignore those type of players but of course if they insist on actually purposefully trying to target another innocent person for whatever reason then it's surely their fault and some kind of consequence should be issued deem fit, why not? Alright, let me be specific or clear about my appeal and what I said there that was not suppose to be taken so seriously... The keyword that got me this ban I was told by that person who reported was "turned on", I guess I'll have to admit it's not right for me to say that especially a "her". I mean ok I get that, but I must argue it's not exactly explicit stuff like we might hear these days. I wasn't trying to cross anybody's boundaries, but I was told that I actually did and wasn't given a chance to remand my words but reported immediately. Sure, I can be sarcastic sometimes in game with the things that I've said but I'll still care for other players who seem to be needing a bit of help. I'll be nice to others when communication is involved and wouldn't want to simply offend someone for some unintended accident against me. Alright, I'll stop for now and see if I might be able to counter my ban at all here. 3 days might not be excessive, but I understand that it serves as a strict warning to my MapleStory career since 2013 in Royals.
Why publicly humiliate me for that, I know it's sort of a "prerequisite" for these ban appeals but can't you focus on what matters here more that is of concern? You know what my in-game names are as GMs and I feel that by listing my character names on this kind of thread is unnecessary and shameful to be honest. If I specify all of my character names here, then people will just blacklist me if they want and giving me a tainted name in the Royals community. It's quite absurd that if I cannot choose to remain partially anonymous to whomever stumble upon my post. I just hope you can take my case into consideration nonetheless than expecting to reveal my full identity to demoralize me even further...
That's unfortunate, I'll literally shut off from talking to anyone and just isolate myself when I come back on in-game on 11th May then. Talking to people only gets me into trouble for real. Lots of trap laid out to conspire against to set me up for a ban by even trying to interact with other players in an online game. It's just ridiculous and also a very rigid rule of Royals to expect everyone who writes in an appeal to give out all of their character names so that people who see those names can easily be ridiculed for as they wish. You know me more than I know you Tim, it's apparently transparent to your logs just let me keep my confidentiality or privacy to the public then. Just a remark to try and remain professional with your replies here and not be fully complacent on your Administrative/Game Master status. Peace.
Tim has been completely professional toward you, in expecting you to follow the same rules in your ban appeal as everybody else. This is not some kind of conspiracy against you. If for whatever reason you feel that you have stuff to hide, and that keeping your IGNs anonymous is necessary for this, then that's your problem not ours. I'll be closing this appeal if you aren't willing to follow the process.
We all sure have problems in this world and undoubtedly certain things to "hide" from other people even if they are known to be related to us in any way for a fact I'd say. It's common for people to keep some secrets to themselves especially if they aren't at all something that will bring benefit or glamour to oneself if shared with strangers. I wonder why you are both so adamant in knowing what my names are considering that you already know them in the first place I'll presume, since I'm quite sure that game masters have the ability to investigate data of players even if they try to be discreet with some things regardless of them being minor or major deeds. I'm sure it's more of trying to embarrass me over here in the forums rather than genuinely trying to know what my identities are in game. I'm also quite sure from your form of responses to my appeal is that you aren't at all interested in exempting me from the ban either which can clearly be felt by your mannerisms towards me. I do my best to always abide by the rules of the game and maintain to be reasonable in my speeches but of course that might not necessarily be the case if I was trying to have some form of funny interactions with other players considering that I do possess a bit of humor in me at times and might feel like expressing them but not going overboard as to offend players as my initial intention unless they offend me first by purposefully attempting to engage in any types of blatant ways that will surely be deemed as abusive/insulting/hurtful or degrading words against me. So, if you may very now be kind as to give me your reasonable consensus of my case and cease trying to avoid in your reluctance to not want to even answer them just because I am not willing to give some 'trivial' information that is totally redundant here since I'm sure you are well in awareness if you even care to do some simple investigation. If you don't want to be banned again, then follow our rules. Because, if you break our rules again, then you will be banned again. I'm closing this appeal now, as you are not interested in following the process. You can wait out the 2 days.
