So, I've tried almost everything people suggest me to do and I still can't run Maple Royals on my mac.

I've been having the same problem as well. OS Sierra removed the "Allow apps downloaded from: Anywhere" option on security and privacy system preferences. There is a terminal code to bring back the "Anywhere" option, which is "sudo spctl --master-disable" (without quotation marks), and you type in your administrative password (you won't be able to see what you're typing) afterwards. However, when I did that and tried to open up MapleRoyals, this Error message appeared:

ERROR! cannot write to Info.plist, there are permission problems, or you are on a read-only volume.
This cannot run from within a read-only dmg file.

I Googled the error and it seems to be a wineskin problem. Has anyone gotten this same error message? Any fixes?

I found a solution! Move the MapleRoyals application on to your desktop and open it from there.

Awesome! Hope that works and thank you! I'll try it as soon as I get home.
