I remember seeing these being 'tested' by a GM about a month and a half ago and I was wondering if they were going to be introduced in the game at some point eventually.
This probably was me, and at the time it was generally agreed upon that they would only be used for gachapon messages. Maybe opinions have changed about it, but I hope not.
My suggestion is to make item smegas relatively rare by exchanging a good number of regular smegas for them so if someone wants to use one, they have to pay a hefty price.

With so many people spamming Item SMEGAs, I think it would take away from the novelty of seeing only "good" items being shown off, such as the items we have set to send an Item SMEGA from Gachapon.
Which is why I suggest making them somewhat more rare and harder to get. If possible, the developers can take out the more useless Gachapon rewards so there would be less spam. I haven't heard much backlash as of late from the Gachapon Smegas. Because if it's not rare, there will be too much Smega spam. If you want to show off an item, you'll have to pay for it. It's not like Smegas are going away or anything. Item Smegas were and should be a luxury.
Debatable, but eventually if it wasn't expensive and Item Smegas gets too common, there will be way too much in circulation thus creating a problem i.e. spam.
Work is everyone's favor. Less spam from Smegas because there are less in circulation and people can choose to use Item Smegas.
I don't care as long as somebody implements a command to toggle them on and off, as I find them horribly distracting when I'm trying to do stuff on my GM ingame. Pretty please, with a cherry on top? (I've already asked for this several times before.)
