IGN: TheHoodPope Problem: Lost way too many mesos using ~buyback Details: I sold a bunch of items and wanted to buy 3 of them back, which happened. According to a post on the forum, the function is only supposed to take 10% or 10,000 mesos, yet I lost like 13 mil, dropping from mil to 16 mil. I lost almost half my mesos for three items. If it's supposed to work like this then I guess I look like an idiot but I'm pretty sure this isn't how it's supposed to work.
I don’t know where you found that forum post, but it is wrong. For buyback, each transaction will cost 5m to return the item.
I believe you are referring to this post when you said 10% fee, however, do note the new fee is 5m, which you can read about it here.
