Hiya! I wouldn't be surprised if this was asked before but I don't quite understand how the search function works through the web browser with the search bar missing from the forums :(

But anyway, what's the possibility of MapleRoyals becoming available to Mac users? I've been running bootcamp but its been giving me issues and I don't have my Windows CD on me to do a fresh wipe of my bootcamp partition. I noticed some other servers are offering Mac Compatibility and even tried one out to see if it was a complicated process, but it worked just as easily as it does on Windows.

I love this server above all others, and I've tried a few other servers for comparison. But all others fall short of MapleRoyals. I don't mean to toot my own horn, but I enjoy this server so much that I made my first ever donation to this server because I feel that this server actually deserves the support. I just wish I didn't have to deal with bootcamp to play :O Maplestory is legit the only reason I even have a Windows partition on my MacBook right now lol.

So whats it take to support Mac OS? And is there anything we can do as a community to help out? TIA :)

Would love to see support for Mac again without going through bootcamp or VM. I’ve gotten a macbook for work use from my company and sometimes I wanna play royals on a laptop instead of my usual desktop. Can we get a reply from staff just to see if this a thing being worked on or a future priority (if it even is one) ^^

It's going to take years before Mac compatible client comes out, unless someone works out the missing DirectX API files for wines library.

Not technically true. MapleRoyals will be fully compatible with Windows and MacOS systems when the new client comes, which Kevin will code from scratch. And if I remember correctly, even Linux-based systems!
