I personally have no interest in MS2 at all but I also never really wanted to try big bang in first place. I guess I am stuck in the past, which is fine to me. Of course I end up trying it though like everyone.
Watched all parts a couple days ago. I have mixed feelings but generally I feel like it'll be just as community-based as the original. So I'm very excited!
All I can think is: God, it looks terrible. I HATE the design of Maplestory 2. That alone makes me not want to play it.
Uhh... It's not MapleStory to me anymore. Nonetheless, looks interesting and I've heard good things, so I might give it a try.
I remember seeing the trailer when it was released, but seeing the actions that Nexon made and will probably make in the future, I'm gonna stay away from this game.
We should just make a guild altogether when it gets released outside of Korea. The real question is... Will people from MR play MS2 or just stick with MR? :O

I'm fairly certain they said at one point that they wanted to take it back to the way MS was in the earlier days in terms of p2w.
An [obviously] p2w Nexon game that offers nothing new? No thanks. I love maplestory because it's a fluid 2d sidescroller that isn't grossly chibi.
Maplestory 1 owes all its popularity to its 2d sidescroll pixelart charm. To ditch that aspect of the game and become the next 3d mmorpg in line to fail horribly while WoW stands by and giggles... has to be the most stupid move a company has ever made. They could have easily made a pixelart sidescroll rpg with better gameplay than Maple 1, cause lets be honest, Maple 1 isnt that good to begin with. In stead they made a weak copy of a copy of a copy with chibi kawaii desu characters.
