does hunter so weak? im lvl 30 and i see other people on my lvl and they are so strong... these are quests on my lvl that i can lvl up faster then kpq or other pq and also get valuable items to sell.. last question which version maple royal is
Probably because your equips don't give you +10 att each. I've seen other characters around the level of my lv 30s decimating me in terms of damage and rolling through the maps like it was GMS. It makes me feel hella underpowered. However as you keep leveling up the jump in your %dmg/skill will be a lot bigger than in regular GMS and you'll see your damage jump quite a bit per level. It may not be noticeable at first but despite a linear creep in %dmg/level, you'll see it at some point. I guess it's up to you to just keep grinding for now. There's not much you can do but keep going and scrolling up equips you'll end up burning with 100% attack scrolls. +7 attack isn't huge but especially if you don't have other buffs it'll put a dent in mobs. If you have the means, visit NLC and grab some Warrior pots, too. I think it's like +12 w.att for 8 minutes or something like that. It helps to chew through maps and levels pretty quickly. Something that kinda felt discouraging was looking at the %/hr thread and seeing everyone there get like 500-600%/hr in maps I was training on, while I was only getting 200-300%/hr. But then again if you click on those and look in to see how those other characters are leveling up so fast, there's a lot of end game items and equips that more experienced players are using that a new player wouldn't have the means to obtain when they're first starting out, such as potions/apples higher level characters usually will use in bossing situations. They might have multiple clients up for HS on a bishop and then have those high end equips that make me drool. The point is that with a new character on a new server with clean equips and being only self-buffed, you'll be doing lower damage regardless of class. This is a pretty cursory search but https://royals.ms/forum/threads/requesting-a-leveling-guide-for-new-players.67491/ provides a bit of information for where to grind. You can also look up other leveling/grinding guides that offer some other suggestions. I've been playing on a 2nd job Bucc/Shad but have been using the guides written out in the Hero's comprehensive guide, for example. I personally hate PQs so I really can't speak to the best places to PQ nor quest up. I do hear that there are a lot of quests that award handsomely with both high EXP and Meso, but those quests can be really tedious if you don't have another higher level character that can farm drops efficiently. I think last I read Maple Royals was v0.8x or so with a few customized elements taken from a few versions both before and after v0.8x.
MapleRoyals should be between v62 and v83. Might be because they borrowed equipment from their high level character such as work glove with high attack, red socks with attack, and other expensive dex/Str gear. Don't let that discourage you though, everyone has to start somewhere!
