I was wondering why there's no rankings system.. A solid one will be very useful for stalking purposes :3
A player ranking page for the website has not yet been started on. We used to have rankings when we were using the old source, however it was not coded well and was putting a lot of stress on the database, which is why it has been removed until we find time to code a new performant system.
Idk if it would be usefull in a Private server. There are thousands of lv200 chars, new players would never get into the first pages.
We could supposedly have a seperate tab for the characters that have already reached lv 200, so the main page isn't filled with just 200s. The lv 200 tab will still keep track who was the first character to reach 200 etc, while we can look at the main page and see who's the next person to become an echo mule. Just some inspiration for our future system that I wanted to share with everyone, see what they have in mind.
I highly doubt that there are thousands of level 200s while the whole server only has a few thousand players at most.
Not thousands of level 200's, but quite a few... There are a total of 396,809 characters: 336 level 200's. 7,278 level 150+'s 28,557 level 100+'s
Mhmm now that makes sense. If I had to give an estimation I would have said a few hundreds up to maybe one thousand at most.
Oh cool, I was ~ the 200th level 200 almost 1 year ago (I got to lvl 200 on dec 17th) so in this year there's been ~140 people who hit level 200
TIME TO NECRO THIS THREAD! Remember when we had level rankings on the main site? Has anything changed in the past 2 years to make this viable again? I kinda liked the old ranking system and maybe we could even divide it by the subclasses this time? I feel like everyone has kinda forgot at this point but i really liked it. Hope other people agree!
I second! Besides, I can't play because my name is "taken" right after I deleted it. It'd also be nice to see if there is anyone using it after all
