Hi, Just signed up, waiting for download wondered what the rarest classes are (not beginner) that you don't see much of around the game. thank you
I wouldn't say it's that people don't like playing them...more that they don't have a well-defined place in the Royals endgame (which centers around bossing at HT, Krex and Zak.) Classes that don't excel in this environment, tend to be played less often. Since Paladin is a class that excels at melee mobbing, and depends on elemental weaknesses to do dmg, it does not excel at neutral bosses where it can't use its skills optimally (moving mobs, stunning, freezing, etc.) Similar issues exist for the other less common classes, f/p, shadower and (formerly) marksman. They're good at what they do, but what they do, aren't what Royals is centered around unfortunately.
Buccaneer, shadower and paladin. Probably the rarest classes on the server. Marksman have gotten a lot more popular lately it seems. Fire mages are also getting more popular since they have the most damage.
