However, I want to make an appeal to get that time reduced to one week. I am aware of MapleRoyals zero tolerance for account sharing. In my defense, I was unaware that logging into my friends account to see his connection status to the game was an offense. As you may know, there have been many issues with player’s ISP and logging onto the game. My friend was really concerned about his account status so I went ahead on logged in to see if it was an ISP issue or actual ban. With this ban, I understand the extent of the server’s 0 tolerance policy and will not repeat again. I want the ban time to be reduced because with the media causing mass hysteria about the corona virus, staying home and playing maple has proven to be the only safe haven I have as everything I have planned this coming spring is cancelled. I was going to appeal for the ban to be lifted off right, but I understand that every offense comes with a consequence. And if my 30 day ban remains and my appeal is denied, I will remain loyal to the server because of the experience and nostalgia it has given me and my friends within the past 2 weeks. It’s just really unfortunate with ISP connection problems that have been going on, if it wasn’t for this issue I would have never logged in my friend’s account. Lastly, to the admins of MapleRoyals, I want to thank you for keeping this server honest. I understand that these bans are what keeps the server running and prevent offenders from ruining the game. Although it was just a minor case of account sharing, it was still account sharing. I know firsthand how it feels to have this happen to you as a similar scenario has also happened to me in the past. I'm sorry but we cannot offer a reduction to your ban due to the fact that we haven't done so for anyone else who has served the same ban as you. I trust that you were unaware of the rule when you broke it, but as we've stated in ban appeals before, ignorance is not an excuse when regarding our T&C. You agreed to them twice when you created and signed into your account for the first time. You will serve the full length of the ban.
