I'm hoping to code Sleepywood Gachapon sometime soon and would like some suggestions from all of you, players and staff, as to what you think should/shouldn't be in it. Obviously, it should be something that was around in v.62 and shouldn't be anything that unbalances the game. Items don't necessarily have to be useful, they can be simply nostalgic, too. Also, because of the way we do Gachapon, there will need to be a fair amount of the usual pots and junk scrolls in it. Can you think of any junk scrolls that we haven't already added to other gachas? To start the list off, here are a couple of ideas, the first being from Ty (maggles) and the second from me: Kebob Frozen Tuna (lvl 10, all job classes, because nostalgia)
Lvl 70 Khanjars? (Idk if it was in this version) Glowing Whip? Flaming Katana? Purple Work Gloves? Maple Umbrella's and Flags? Poison Mushroom? Maple Leaves?(even though they are in showa gach also)
Or make it give the erasers which used to be needed to get the frozen tuna originally via a quest. Some other elemental wands/staves. More scrolls, mixture of good and poop. Pan lid

Will not be added sorry. That would need to be for some sort of special occasion rather than gachapon at least. Edit: Only way I could think of giving that item out would be if we checked for forum accounts registered before the wipe/before the server went live in may 2013... or something like that. Or maybe I have a db backup somewhere from pre-wipe we could do something with.
Flamekeeper Cordon (Best Warrior Glove eva). - Gives 20 Accuracy, (suppose to drop from firebrands but I don't know if there is even in the database) Maple Hat. - Interesting and fashionable item. Toymaker Cap - Nostalgia
+1 I have never seen a pair on the server since I started in August of 2013, so I think its safe to say they don't drop.
Brown Racc Mask's were in pre-wipe.... I remember having one. Idk what happened to them. And -1 to Spec Goggles.
Possibly Accessory Scrolls 30%/70%? Would be nice to scroll my pendant without blowing 150m per Chaos for random results Also, what about Zombie Army Ring? Since we have no rings to fill those ring slots (besides the Gold Heart Ring), and these are pretty balanced.
OK, feedback on suggestions so far, and I'll add the ones I think are reasonable to my list on the first page: Glowing Whip - yes Flaming Katana - yes Purple Work Gloves - I think it would be good to add all the colours of workglove we don't currently have Maple Umbrellas and Flags - no, because they're possible inclusions for an anniversary event. Poison Mushroom - yes Maple Leaves - unsure, would prefer it if they weren't identical to ones in Showa ~~~~~~ Vital Bullets might be an option - thoughts from anyone else on this? ~~~~~~ Having checked the quests out, you need 6 (or 7 - what about the Fire Raccoon Eraser?) different erasers plus the Hectagon Necklace or Undine's Cloth to get each of the following: Seal Cushion, Flaming Katana, Frozen Tuna, Glowing Whip. We also might need to code 4 different quests - and possibly their pre-quests too - unless those quests are already working. Now personally, I can't see anyone other than a very dedicated quest enthusiast even considering collecting all the erasers just to get the lvl 10 Frozen Tuna which has little value other than as a fun pose-object. Collecting all the erasers plus Hectagon Necklace for a Seal Cushion? Not happening, for sure! Collecting all the erasers for a Glowing Whip? Maybe, but although the Glowing Whip is a really good sword for its level and looks cool, it's hardly end-game material. It would have been a much more valuable item back in 2008 on 1x exp in GMS than it would be here on 4x exp, where getting to endgame weapon level is a lot easier. The same pretty much applies to the Flaming Katana, and if it's just looks people are after, then we already have the Fire Katana in the donator shop. I would rather see the erasers spread out between the different gachapons and used for a custom quest to get a choice of Flamekeeper Cordon or [something of equal value to bowmen, thieves and pirates - unsure what, but if something doesn't exist, we can probably invent it, eg lvl 50 Green/Royal Work Glove, stats tbc] Other Elemental wands/staves - yes Assorted scrolls - yes Pan Lid - no, already readily available as a monster drop ~~~~~ Bosshunter gear is ITCG, so should be forged via Glimmer Man rather than available in Gachapon. ~~~~~ Cordon Flamekeeper - see my reply to Matt for my idea on this. Maple Hat - would rather reserve those as possible anniversary event items Toymaker Cap - yes ~~~~~ Brown Raccoon Mask - I'd be fine with that, but let's see what the rest of the staff think. Spectrum Goggles - not available in v.62 ~~~~~ Neither of those are available in v.62, although it might be possible to use something similar to the Zombie Army Ring as a (non-GM) event reward. ~~~~~ Shinobi Bracer - yes ~~~~~ Obviously, all of this is just my opinion, so if you feel my logic/judgement are flawed, please do say! =)
