Just wondering if this is on purpose, but on EMS
if you could touch (hit, sorry for the confusion) a monster, you would leech it, but this doesnt seem to be the case in this server which is 5 levels below to leech.

In GMS u need to be 5 level under the monster's level to leech , it's not a bug.

It is a thing, altho u are only suppost to get a very small % of the exp since u only dealt a low % of dmg.
But yeah, Ems was like that so you could use the PG leech method at HH and BF (for example) but it was when the party exp was broken. Some other private servers use that too. Mostly because they cant get the coding to work correctly.

In GMS, I recall being able to get exp from zak at low level by PG or I think you could use the noob throw snail shell skill and it would work too.

I am positive that you could get exp from anything, regardless of your level, so long as you could hit it without missing.

I did that in GMS alot since lvl 30 at HH and BF leech, used the shell spell to hit and got some amount of exp from the monster.

You do get exp if you are in a party with somebody and you do damage to zakum for example with snail throw or power guard. Not much though.
