Hey guys, So I had the most stupidest idea in the world. Personally back in 2005 I was 10 yearsold, and I didn't hear about Maplestory until I think a year or two later. Even then I didn't play it seriously until I was 13-14. I was kind of shattered that I didn't start earlier as I always remember Dray86's high level content videos, wishing I was in that generation of players. SO, I was thinking, what if someone made a Private Server starting from.... AHEM v0.02 AHEM >< I KNOW I KNOW IT SOUNDS STUPID! Obviously patches would be applied according to the amount of time after each patch that they were applied (dates: http://www.basilmarket.com/General-What-Came-When-in-GMS-Wiki-2907). This would honestly be the most nostalgic experience someone could ever have...
There's something like this out there A server that's planning to start from v0.01. I can't show you where it is because it's against the rules so you better start googlin'
It's a custom " v0.01 " as far as I know, so I think there is 3rd job. they planning to do updates once in a while and add more contect, but they doesn't mean to really start from 0
From what I saw it's still in development and I don't think there's an official name for it yet. I just saw one thread for it on RZ so idk if there's more that I'm missing.
The v.01 is currently at closed beta phase. Too little info to determine how the structure will be. from what I know, they'll just follow up the patches and upgrade the server bit by bit. Sounds like a fun project, hopefully wont flop like the v40 one.
