When I try running Royals through VMWare, the game gets a transparent/black background and stop responding. When the task manager window comes up to close it, the login screen flashes before the window goes to black and freezes with an hourglass. If it does go through, it takes 2-3 minutes for the game to load in and does the same if I cc or change maps. I'm running the VMWare Player 6 and XP from the guide, increased my RAM to 2g and the cores to 2.
Unfortunately I don't think most of us are familiar with how VMWare works Have you tried asking the Discord?
I've never gotten a relevant response from the discord, so I avoid it. I also am assuming that my specific issue with vmware won't get answered before it gets pushed up. Forums has a good track record on vmware issues, but I can remake the thread in a different topic if you think it is outside the GM knowledge-scope.
