I read on one of the guides that as a warrior, I should keep dex twice my level until a dex of 60, at which point I could put in dex whenever as long as it doesn't exceed 80... since that will cause a major sacrifice in damage. Is this correct?
Most warriors try to cap dex at 30-50 before level 30 You can always use ap resets later to lower it even further. As long as you have enough accuracy
I would say go dexless, funded or not. A Zhelm + Maple Weapon should fix most of your accuracy problems in the short term (and is relatively cheap to get). Resetting all that dex later is a lot of wasted meso in my oppinion, you may as well sell the resets to get yourself gear that would improve your accuracy.
The hardest part of dexless warrior is lvl 10-35 though. If you aren't funded you may need to get someone to help you with 2nd job advancement.
If you're a hero, there's not harm getting 40~50 base dex. But if you're a dk, just get some accuracy gear
