Hey, so I have two feedbacks that are more technical and one that is more about the spirit of the server. Technical feedback: 1. Cooldowns - I opened a bug on it but it was ignored because the same bad behavior existed in the original maple. I think cooldowns should progress even when your character is offline. It just makes more sense. https://royals.ms/forum/threads/resurrection-cooldown-bug.170560/#post-998508 2. Buffs - I don't know how hard it would be to implement, but can you make it so that lesser buffs cannot override better ones? The small case is MW10 ruining MW20, but the worse is accidentally ruining your own apple or amoria basket. Deeper feedback: Basically I want to make the game more community based. In the earlier lvls, it really is great. The more people you can get in your PQ the easier and more beneficial it might become. In bossing lvls however, we get motivated to include as few people as possible and use mules instead of someone else to keep the large part of the loot. I would want to server to encourage including more people in expeditions. What we gain: - More people can take part in expeditions - We don't have to invest in high end gear just to be accepted into bossing parties - Eliminate the need to multi-client because it's a headache - More fun making friends Suggestions: Maybe the rewards from bosses should be scaled with how many unique players are taking part in the expedition (Unique as in not multi clients of same person). For example more NX coupons, better chance for rare drops and more equips (like helmets or HT pendant) when the party is larger. Another thing I think nobody enjoys but many feel like they forced to do is HP washing. My suggestion here is to allow players to gain max HP by doing quests, collecting cards, gaining medals, taking part in boss expedition and more. Of course it shouldn't be easy, but it would sure as hell be more fun than creating a character with 9000 base int and not play it until lvl 120
I'm not against this but because a lot of people are already at the stage where they CAN minimize the number of players, I can potentially see a lot of end game players using VMs and VPNs for "sit-in mules" to reap extra rewards for no cost. I wonder if using a "minimum damage" threshold to check for unique party members (with the threshold changing to adjust to different classes) to scale for loot would be viable. In this way, the bar would be set fairly low for unfunded players to cross, but not low enough for mules to trigger with a few hits. Edit: Also would not recommend to touch on HP washing since there's already a megathread for that and it sort of stirs controversy.
