Is there a way to get a notification on server status for any server?

    I'm sure this has to be a common thing, and I just don't know what the name for it is.

    Is there some program that can continually check on a particular server's status, and then let you know when it's online? And if there is, is there a way to get it to send you a text every time the server goes down, and every time it comes back up?

    Any information on this would be helpful :3
