Hi all, firstly thank you GMs for your hard work for the past couple of days well the game was working fine for me on my Mac earlier today but I switched over to my brother's Windows laptop to get a Zak helm. After getting it, I switched over back to my Mac and realized I can no longer access the game here, with this error showing on my MAC client: Runtime Error! Program: C:\Nexon\MapleStory\MapleRoyals.exe abnormal program termination So as of now, it works perfectly fine on my brother's PC client (same IP) but not on my Mac client, although it was working a couple of hours ago. This has been happening for people who have been having DNS issues since the IP change. It *should* resolve itself within 24 hours of the change (so another 12 hours from now). You can try to force it to go faster by trying a flush DNS https://www.whatsmydns.net/flush-dns.html But it may not work 100% right away.
It worked about 10 hours ago and I managed to play for 4 hours, went to bed and woke up and it's back to this situation again. Is there a way to ensure this doesn't crop up seemingly randomly? Even when it worked 10 hours ago, I had about 30 minutes of this issue cropping up before it randomly decided to work /: Update: since this happened, it's been happening seemingly randomly and increasingly frequently. I have no idea how to fix this CONSISTENTLY and FOR GOOD; I can't keep trying a combination of the following: - Restarting the Mac laptop - Clearing DNS Cache - Clearing Google Chrome cache And hope it works on random, please help me out here. I've also tried reinstalling the client. Thank you.
