I recently got banned for about a week for botting, because I fell asleep on my keyboard holding an attack key lol. I'm not complaining about the punishment, I do see that there are some grounds for my punishment, but I do feel like there could be a lighter punishment for the first offence or a warning. I know that you guys don't give out warnings, but I feel like there should be, just in case accidents happen, and an account gets banned even when the user meant no harm or had no idea that he was doing the wrong thing.

A week ban serves as both a warning and a punishment. If you make the first offence have no penalty, then people will have no deterrent and will likely abuse the system and then stop when they think that the punishment is severe enough to outweigh the advantages of breaking the rule.

Even a week long ban isn't a very severe punishment for botting.

I don't think people will abuse the system, because if you give them the first warning, they will either realize their mistake and fix it, or they will abuse it again and receive a much harsher punishment. Either way, I think the problem gets fixed. I just think that the first warning should be implemented to give users a chance to correct their mistake, or for dumb people like me who accidentally get banned for botting without actually botting.

Every user agrees to the rules upon signing up. Not knowing them is a poor excuse. When people have been given warnings in the past, they have abused that and turned around and did something else wrong once more. There's no need for warnings anyway, as the tier system is effective for both punishment and warning as @Doritos said.

Many people already bot with the 7 day ban as the first offence. Making there no punishment for the first offense would make botting even more prevalent.

If you're tired, then go to sleep. Don't try and be cheeky and train while also taking a nap. You aren't fooling anyone when you say you feel asleep when holding down a key. Your muscles relaxes when your sleeping and I doubt that it will allow you to hold any certain position when asleep.

As for the punishment, the crime fits it. You should never have any reason to bot.

Also, if you're @Evan Li, it's against the rules to have two forum accounts.

Dam thats kinda harsh @Plenty :/ I really wasn't botting, and I accept my punishment, but you dont really have to shit on me and tell me I'm giving some lame excuse. I fell asleep playing a game, doesnt that show that I enjoy playing it so much that I played it till I passed out?

Why play until you passed out and pushed yourself for it. This is not an assignment which due date the next day or a big project your company wants? You have defeated the point of playing game which is to give you entertainment and leisure. Good days Royallers :)

Um SodeNoShiraYuki... that's how much he enjoys it apparently... he hasn't defeated the point of the game (entertainment and leisure), he's playing until he's passed out because it's fun not because he forces himself to do it... Now whether that's a healthy way to play this game can be debated and as for actually sleeping and holding down the button.... I don't know.... but if that's true, I'll sleep on my laptop every night f3

Why would you drink untill you pass out? Why would you study for a test untill you pass out? Why would you train untill you pass out? Why would u pass out in the toilet while shitting @4 am in the morning? Why would you hold your breath until you pass out? Why would you pass out doing a work project unless you are slave? Why does my foot go numb if I sit on it for too long?

JUST the first three and the picture would've done well more than getting your point across but glad you continued for the humor.

@Plenty is right, when you are asleep your muscles can't hold the same positions so in all reality, he probably was using a bot and botting should be a permanent ban offense anyway.

Someone could be extremely tired while playing; they could hold a key down while they were dazing in and out of sleep, but they possibility for him to hold it down while sleeping is slim to none..
