So I was on MR for a while today and I dc'd about 7 times in a span of a hour and had to continuously log-in to the site and do the character fixes, which got me to thinking, maybe you guys should change the 99.9% server up-time to around 50% (being a little generous) because it's blatantly clear the server isn't up 99.9%. I understand the lag is the primary issue so we should just make new members aware of the problem and actually be correct in our advertising.

Btw this lag got me like

Oh look, it's THIS thread again.

The server has had some trouble with a DDoS attack and then a host issue in the last couple days. Other than that, we average maybe ten minutes out of every six hours where the lag is bad enough that you cant do anything. 10 minutes out of six hours is a 98.3% uptime.

Crying about it like this isn't going to help anything.

you just joined at a shitty moment
They put in 99.9% as a disclaimer because there can always be something happening. For example the past weeks (previous post explains).

When you look at a year in total its 99.9 %
