IGN: polyaxian Problem: Plump pumpkin box count reset to 0 instead of 4 Details: The announcement for the optional patch said that the count of plump pumpkin boxes turned in should be 4, but when I logged in this morning, it was reset to zero. I spent several hours yesterday doing this event to get to 13 boxes, so I hope that the GMs will increase my current count by 4. Thank you for your support.
Hello, the turn-in progress of some players' participation this year's event has been reset to 0 due to an oversight on our end. And unfortunately it is something that we are not able to appropriately refund players for. Apologies for any inconveniences to those who lost their progress, but hopefully there is plenty of time left in the event for players to complete their turn-ins. Additionally, players who managed to obtain more than 4 turn-ins from this year's event so far was due to a bug exploit, which has now been fixed.
Sen, thank you for your reply. If I understand correctly, you are saying that the reset to 0 instead of 4 was a mistake on your end and that we cannot receive any compensation for the time we spent to earn the plump pumpkin boxes?
Yes, and yes. Not everyone was meant to be reset to 4 though, and not everyone was reset to 0. Sorry.
I don't understand what it means when you say that not everyone was meant to be reset to 4. Only some people were reset to 4 and others were reset to 0? That hardly seems fair for the people that put in the time to do the boss. Why is there this difference?
To clarify, those who had not yet completed 4 turn-ins were not raised to 4. That's what I meant by not everyone was meant to be reset to 4.
But, the issue I created here is because I already did complete four turn-ins (I completed 13). I guess that leaves me wondering why mine was reset to zero. Shouldn't it have been reset to 4? Is this the mistake you were referring to earlier?
Thank you for the quick replies, Sen. You can go ahead and close this issue. I understand sometimes there are difficulties in maintaining a server and its data.
