Hi! I just tried to join the server today, but I've been having troubles downloading the client. I've tried the first two mirrors, and successfully downloaded the installer, but halfway through the installer, it simply closes. I have looked extensively, and found a few possible solutions, none of which have worked. They include: -Allowing the program through my fire wall -Turning off my firewall -Excluding the program and the folder location through real time security -Turning off real time security -Trying on my C: drive and an external hard drive (D Idk what's the issue. Here's a video of it, too. I'm going to try to download the files to my laptop and simply transfer them over via external hard drive... I'll see if that works. Also, I had a very helpful friend in the Discord trying to help me out, albeit we couldn't figure it out. Dsicord name is Hae, Hae! V nice person
I've tried redownloading the installer from both mirror 1 and 2 (mirror 3 doesn't work for me). It does seem, however, that my laptop is installing it normally, So I should be able to get the files to my PC that way.
Alright, so the deal was, I had an antivirus program that I didn't even know was on my pc. I'm a great pc gamer ;_;. I ended up rooting that out after cyphering through my programs, and afterwards, it worked like a charm. Thank you guys for the help.
