Comprehensive Paladin Guide- Haplopelma-

I participated the clown event (Halloween), and guardian, just like any other skill, seems to be irrelevant there.

 

I plan to so BG on pally, and I heard pally is pretty good in BG. I would like to know how good is pally in BG? Is it only because of the guardian push or there is something else? anything I need to note of when doing BG on pally? I ran a lot of BG on bucc, but never do it on or ran with a pally before.

 

Pally is good for many reasons. First, you shine on single target bosses. Second, attack speed of blast is usually pretty good for keeping the boss pinned if you have SI. Then, guardian might save your party from guaranteed death should Boss A get unpinned while you are stunned. Lastly, a very understated aspect of blast is that it will always attack the first target that you targeted. That means that if a creep get between you and the bosses, you will still pin and attack the boss.
Another trick for the first boss: If you pin to the right side, you can get stunned very little if you stand on top of the boss and blast him into the wall. You will chug a lot of potions but might save your party from certain death should your Holy Shield be off cd.

What if you blast 1 boss, then rush multiple bosses? Like in CWK, hit archer boss first with blast, then rush all the boss into 1 group. Does blast still only attack the archer or the rush will reset everything?

 

Yep thats exactly how it works, you will always blast the target you first hit! Thats why we are so effective at shaolin, since we hit the main boss before the clones spawn, you will always hit him with blast! It is a great tip that many people do not know about! Also great for Targa/ Scarlion duo. Just keep changing your aggro once the body dies!! Rush or any other skill will not change the aggro.

It's the same for other melee classes (like bucc and shad), there is auto targeting to the first thing you hit

 

Weird question and somewhat pretty new to how Maple works. But since the elemental buffs increases your Magic, would investing into INT affect this damage and would it even be significant enough for you to see some changes in your DPS?

 

nah magic only affects the damage of mages, paladin does physical damage. Not sure why the charges increase your magic

 

I'm not sure. But the Magic part in the stats increases when I'm using the elemental buff. I've no idea if that applies or not.

 

Ive noticed the different charges do give different magic bonus. I am not sure why that is however. I would probably need a gm to investigate files to understand why it does this. However, I do not believe a int paladin is a viable build.

any tips on using 1h sword on bigfoot without stance?

 

I believe every weapon without stance is 2 hit pause 2hit, see 2 hit frame video for reference. This is mostly due to the fact that bigfoot does not hit you and allows you to not get knockbacked often. Just to make sure can you confirm your weapon?

 

im using a sparta.

 

This trick might work for stanceless bigfoot but once you get stance and need to start paying attention to iframes it might be harder for you. As for 5 attack speed weapons, I am not too sure what the proper hit sequencing is since ive only done 6 atk speed weapons.

 

Alright my man, so after investigating with GM. This seems to be a leftover from nexon coding when different elements had different values. If you look at the magic numbers ,they do kinda match the power levels back in the days:
Lightning 125%
Ice 105%
Fire 120%
The magic numbers do not make sense in Royals since the elemental damage buff has been upped to a flat 130% per charge. The magic damage might have something to do with enabling an extra % based damage on top of your regular damage with whatever respective element you are using.

I hope that makes sense.
tl:dr magic numbers from nexon coding in past, makes no sense because royals changed all elemental values to 130%

Sup @Jimothy , I have been made aware of your video and took the time to answer your questions. For those who are not aware and want reference:

I will time stamp your questions and answer them to the best of my ability.
For the purpose of my answer, I consider Omegarich as having enough disposable income to buy 20B chairs and flower crowns.

1:46: You asked for BIS items. My answer is the following. If you are omegarich, go 2h Sword. If you are broke go Skull and Shield (As much attack as you can afford). For the rest. Zhelm scrolled with Dex, Face scrolled with avoidability 60% (gives 1 dex). Gloves: Stormcaster Gloves or Brown Work Gloves with as much attack as you can afford. Boots: Facestompers or Red sock with as much attack as possible. Cape: Pink Gaia Cape or Blackfist Cloak with as much attack as possible. Top + Bottom (scrolled with str for top and dex for bottom) or overall scrolled with Strenght. Rings, 1 Krex ring, 1 valentine event ring and 2x Ring of Alchemist. Earings with as much dex as possible, if you are omegarich, look into 10+ strenght earings. Eye accessory, Spectrum Goggles with high strenght and dex. Belt: Dojo dungeon for black belt. For your necklace, HTP is good at lvl 120 but 8 atk mon with high str and dex will be BIS after lvl 140

2:18: Purpose of getting slime shoes: They give overall better stats then the other regular boots that you can find for that level. Plus, doing kerning pq is a great source of xp 21-30. It was just a small tip, they are definitely not BIS and if you find good rolled stats on regular shoes use them for sure!

2: 30 Accuracy requirements: It depends on what content you are doing. But if you are missing on content you wanted to do, just add dex. I recommend going 23 dex and scrolling most of my leveling gear with dex to make sure I am not missing while grinding. Its mostly a feeling thing. Some people are content with doing easier content and not missing therefore requiring less accuracy and some people like doing challenging content that require more accuracy.
At lvl 155, for horntail, you will require approximately 180 accuracy. That should be enough for most content however, there are some bosses that require you to use Maple Pops (100 accuracy potion) to be able to hit. These bosses are The Boss, Auf Haven, Royal Guard.

3:00 On the topic of my thesis : Gameplay is a bit different for both weapons. They are both good in their own regards: TLDR: Sword big damage, Shield and Skull more tanky and less fall.

3: 35: On the topic of what you need to work towards. IF you are a beginner player, I suggest aiming for 15 atk glove, 7 atk shoes, 10 atk cape, 140 skull and 20 shield or 135 claymore/ Stonetooth. 32 stats top 20 stats bottom or 45+ stats overall, work towards black belt in dojo, do your events for rings, aim to get a 20+ strenght zakum helmet. 7 dex face, 5str+ eye.

3:45 : On the topic of hp washing. IT is not necessary I have played my character without washing and was able to do most content. Furthermore, you can get a dk friend to do harder content.

3:50: Zakum helmet: Scroll with int if you want to hp wash later and have extra mana. Scroll with accuracy scrolls if you are missing. Scroll with Dex scrolls if you are doing fine.

4:40 You do not need to do your own research sir, let us stand on the shoulders of giants and use the knowledge we have acquired through years of playing.
