Installer doesn't open

    Hey guys,

    Having some issues with the installer. It won't run anything when I try to open the programme. Folder and individual file has been whitelisted on anti-virus and windows defender. Have tried multiple download mirrors, and the 800x600 client and the 1024x768. I have also tried restarting CPU after downloading before running the installer. The installer doesn't show up in task manager processes, it just gives the circle round the mouse cursor for ~10 seconds - and then nothing happens.

    Any next things to try appreciated.

    What anti virus softwares are you using?

    Webroot?

    If possible, try to disable the real-time protection of Avast before attempting the installation again

    I have tried that with it added to exceptions, and with real time protections disabled.

    Have you also tried running it as Administrator?

    Right click and select Run as Admin

    Yes, tried run as Admin. Also tried running in compatibility for W7 and W8. Tried moving it to my 2nd HD also.

    Fixed this by installing on another user profile. I think Windows Defender was still blocking it despite turning off real time protection etc.
