I wish it was more beginner friendly-ish. Some people leech at lower levels while I just wanna grind and have fun with PQs
Other players mostly. I have a lot of pet peeves after all these years playing pixel mushroom game. Today I went zak and the mouth breather bm who didn't bring any mules or anything looted the entire map clean 0.1 seconds after zak died. I also loathe merching but there's nothing they can do about that lol
I feel their account sharing is way to strict, I recall a married couple getting banned for knowing each others information, I feel that is just an unreasonable expectation. I feel the rule should be altered to where it's really not that their business/responsibility to manage it unless there is proof of exploitation. Does that open the door to that possibility? Yes, but it also closes the door on the extremist bans I see regarding this. I feel as though account sharing to maximize efficiency is really no different than multi clienting, they both serve the same purpose, and if they choose one to be wrong, the other one should be limited too. Regarding people losing information/getting hacked, I feel them losing everything is a lesson learned already, and banning the other user is just enough justice. Honestly, only thing I would change.
i feel like thats really not true (compared to other oldschool servers). you fly through levels here.
Certain spawn rates for mobs Like I don't mind the drop rates for rare stuff or cards, but at least alter some quests like say showa quest line with those abysmall spawn rates. While where at it. low reward quests. Arwen glass shoe. increasing that drop rate ain't going to hurt anyone. that drop rate is abysmall.
Some of the balance changes makes me question what goes through the staff's head as they are brainstorming it. Leeching is scaled to a level where it's now ridiculous. Same with people using mules. Some of the policies, how strong they are enforced, and the lack of understanding or willingness to be merciful is nazi-like. People using bots to take FM spots. How lazy people have gotten in this server. They don't even write out jpq anymore just j, there can be 5 people standing in a pq lobby all saying j instead of someone forming the party and being leader, cpq leech lol, people buying everything instead of spending 30 min grinding for it themselves (basic, common etc drops).
I dislike the fact that there is no web-interface to provide a better market system! That an the fact that Gert is not in my bed right now
Hackers. There are those who have an auto-cc function whenever someone enters the map, usually the only way to find out they are hacking is to do a ~mapowner and track them down across channels. This is the most common hack, with cheaters being able to teleport all mobs to one single location on the map or being able to 1hit every mob on the map with the press of a button. It's worrying how many teleporting hackers I've come across. At one point in maple island about 2 months ago I've seen like at least 10 hackers who fly across the map at light speeds and every mob on the map gets pulled to a corner.
These changes broke the game. https://royals.ms/forum/threads/update-65-18-04-2020.155184/ Global Drop Changes: Non-Boss Mobs: Drop rates of equips have been reduced by 20% Drop rate of Mastery Books has been reduced by 20% Drop rate of Projectiles has been reduced by 20% Drop rates of Elixirs and Power Elixirs have been reduced. Boss Mobs: Drop rates of Elixirs and Power Elixirs have been increased. Ulu City Changes: Amount of monster spawns have been reduced on the following maps: Ulu Estate I Ulu Estate II Ulu City Center
RIP LYKA and 0 endgame bosses, that can be killed fairly quickly with chance "good drop" only HT hththththttdryhtingdryhtingdryhthththtdryhtththt
My brother, can you expand on this? Would love to hear your thoughts because I too think this is one of the most stupid "balance" changes the staff have ever made. It made bishops even more OP/attractive and it increased the gap between bossers (again Bishops, and people invested in this game for years) and non-bossers (Archmages, people just starting out on this server/intermediate players). The price change on stars as a way to have a meso sink also made me cringe at the thought process of the staff. Again, people invested in this game have no problem dropping 2m to recharge a set of stars, and in the grand scheme of things it really does nothing to stop inflation. Newbies/intermediate players are badly effected by this and I personally have seen many new players have a hard time recharging their stars and feel discouraged. The argument that it is not NX-like for people to solely use Ilbis and better stars is such a poor argument as Royals is filled with meta's and things that were never NX-like.
* ~mapowner, not nostalgic * magic crash, as it is it's not nostalgic * % hp pot prices, star recharge costs, alchemist nerf, shifter nerf . same. not nostalgic
