    Lag spikes resolve themselves without a server reset. Easiest way. When it locks up like that and needs an admin to reset it, thats a crash and not on LSN's side.

    After snowman died at around 17:00 CET: Mass lag for about 30 minutes.

    Mass DC and lag after SC at 19:20 CET and still ongoing.

    Update: Ended for me 19:50 CET

    I did what u said, putted "Mapleroyals.com" on Host.. and then pressed start after a few secs pressed Stop and nothing happened :S

    Description of lag: lagged for like 4 minutes, most of the people dc'ed. for example only 2/6 in my party survived. before this lag kicked in there were already problems in my cpq with mobs in the screen that weren't really there, which also happened after i got kicked out of the pq. A few people weren't able to log in in those 4 mins

    Description of lag: You can see monsters stop running for some time, then moving again after a few seconds. Looting takes about 10 seconds. If I spam skills on the monsters, nothing happens and then after a second or 10, they suddenly die. There was a wedding going on at the time of the lag. I didn't D/C.

    Trace route (Recommended): Can't use the utility, it gives me an error.


    Edit: While I was typing this post, it seemed to stabilize. Then, when I went back to grinding at 14:48 server time, another spike occurred, but it was less than 10 seconds.

    Edit 2: Another spike at 14:51, about 3 seconds. I will put spikes underneath as I encounter them.

    Spike at 14:58. During pirate job adv. Flash fisted an octopirate about 10 times, then it suddenly died about 5 seconds after I stopped attacking. Looting took ~5 seconds as well.
    D/Ced at 14:59... might be a freeze? Seems not, as I could log in perfectly fine shortly after. Might be a pirate job adv quest bug.

    Lagspikes at 19:04 lasting until 19:07. Most likely just after the server recovered from a freeze as I had trouble logging in.

    Major lag at 19:26 and ongoing... It takes me 30 seconds to step through a portal after clicking arrow up. Everything is back to normal at 19:31


    Sidenote: It would appear that everytime I use a portal, it lags for a few seconds, and then the room is 'stable'. Is that normal?

    Another day, a new report.

    Date & Time of lag (Server Time): 30-12-2014, starting at 21:49
    Duration of lag: Multiple occurences listed below.
    Description of lag: Lagspikes (monsters stopping to move, but I am able to take action). Eventually resulting in a 'freeze' or 'crash'.
    Trace route (Recommended): Still can't use the utility. (Socket error)

    21:49: For 1 minute, multiple minor lagspikes of ~3 seconds. I d/ced eventually, but was able to instantly reconnect.
    21:53: Single ~5 second lagspike.
    21:56: Major 10 second lagspike. d/ced afterwards. Seems the server froze at this point.
    22:03: Reconnected, 2 minor lagspikes (~1-2 seconds)
    22:17: Minor lagspike, 1-2 seconds.
    22:34: ~3 second lagspike.
    22:36: Another ~3 second lagspike.


    For the record: When I ping mapleroyals, the average latency is 127ms. Not sure if that helps.

    Description of lag: DCs about every minute while standing still, multiple relogs of my entire guild and buddy list. 30-45 seconds delay on any in game action. Resolved suddenly and completely.

    There has been very little lag overall today - about 5 minutes of the same thing two hours ago, and otherwise nothing worth mentioning.

    There is a lot of packet loss starting at hops 3 and going up to 13, none of which are even close to our server. I think that packet loss is what likely contributed to your lag.

    If I'm understanding correctly, then you're saying this is on my end? I don't think this is the case, as my whole BL crashesd and relogged multiple times, my guildmates crashed and mentioned the lag, and there were several posts in the shoutbox about it. I was not the only one to experience the issue at that time.

    Editing rather than doing a new post:

    Description of Lag: one of my two clients open constantly crashing. The character standing completely still never dc'd. Entire guild and buddy list relog. 15 seconds delay on ingame actions, 30 seconds on going through portals. Several "RIP" "Pepperonis" etc. comments in shoutbox, my group skype call mentioned the lag. Again, resolved suddenly and completely after 3-5 minutes.

    Its really bad right now, Jan 1st 22:04 server time. Been going for the past like 5-7 minutes. Chat delay, everyone stops moving for a few seconds, then it catches back up and repeats. I just lagged out to the login screen "An error occured while trying to connect to the server"
