What GM banned you (optional): Do not know I honestly have no idea why, last time I played was a few days ago and it seems like I was banned today for a month. Help would be greatly appreciated.
I understand that RWT is a bannable offense. However as you have observed I was joking and it was a short conversation where I clarified to the user I was joking and don't think that should be considered as solicitation for RWT, and if you did I believe that would result in a permanent ban. I don't think a 30 day ban is reasonable as similar offenses would result in a first offense of a 3-7 day ban. Considering this is a first offense for me id like a reconsideration, however I understand if you do not agree and rules are rules.
Unfortunately, the 30 day ban is the first and only chance we give for rwt jokes, as rwt is taken very seriously here so we cannot afford to be lenient. You also persisted even after you were informed it was a bannable offense, so your ban will remain.
Again, I really don't think a 30 day ban is fair at all and would like a reconsideration for the length of the ban. No where in the ToS or Rules does it state joking about RWT is an offense at all ("additionally, any and all solicitation, advertisement or other promotion"). If you could kindly discuss with other GMs before replying I would greatly appreciate that. I understand now what I did was wrong and would like to continue playing Mapleroyals soon as I was very much enjoying your server.
You made a believable claim by saying that you wanted to offer money. Your ban would normally be permanent but for obvious jokes (based on experiences we've had in previous ban appeals) we have reduced obvious RWT jokes (like $20 for a GM Chair) to a temporary 30-day ban instead. This is as lenient as we can be, the ban will unfortunately stand.
And also as you can see based on experiences you've had in previous ban appeals the other player was also extremely upset with the decision for 30 day ban. For clarification and to better understand what I did wrong perhaps you could let me know the exact details (maybe PM me) of what I said that lead to this ban I would appreciate that as I am very foggy of exactly what I said as I don't want to make the same mistake again. I don't remember actually offering any real world currency but I am probably mistaken. However all things considered I will probably stop playing from here. Thanks for the fun while it lasted though.
