After many years of being on hiatus, I have made up my mind by returning once more to play some MapleRoyals and join back the community. It had come to a point whether I wasn't sure anymore if I wanted to continue or not, so I decided to take a break until I was more sure of the decision I'd make. And after some long thinking, I've decided I want to come back and relive the good ol' moments. The 2 main reasons are because : 1st : It's one of the only games I truly enjoyed seeing my character progress and exploring the world of this game. The game mechanics are simple enough to adapt, let alone you can edit it to the way you'd like, thus making it simpler and entertaining to tap with your hands. The art style is so overwhelming that it gives me a warm fuzzy feeling inside me. Love it or hate it, MapleStory has some great soundtracks in which I sometimes unironically listen to them (Crimsonwood Keep Interior is the bomb!). What's also fun is that it's one of those games where you can play your own music, and it wouldn't be an issue since it doesn't require you to pay attention to something important in the game, give that it's mostly all text. 2nd : Because I've never been really proactive towards the community, not a lot of people may know me when I played before I took this long pause. But based on the people I met in the long run or encountered, all were friendly and quite cheerfully helpful in any way. I would grind, do some quests, have some open-minded conversations, and even share some advice that helped us in our lives. I'm not gonna lie, I couldn't find any of these traits in another community than this one. Which is one of the causes I have made up this decision.
