All Your Character Names: OniSan, Fornicates, Unchaste, Lecherous, Philander, Libidinous, kuckaneer, Transfix, TeaPain, GetWreck, misterkaren, forumjanitor, donlegend. I think that's it. Last thing you did: Boss with my friend Aoop, hangout with my online clouts Why do you think you got banned?: After talking to Tim, someone reported me for harassment, to which details I don't know about. Ban message when attempting to log in: ID has been blocked... etc. What GM banned you (optional): No idea I have no idea what form of harassment I was reported for, but, knowing there are two harassment sections that you can be banned under, I would like to know why this one is permanent. I know I was banned for "cyber bullying," which, still, to this day, is not written in the rule (forums T&C), and Tim told me after my ban from last year, there is a possibility for a ban for my next harassment offense. Maybe I went too hard with Rogue members and the guild itself? But, they haven't told me anything about it. I only heard from one member that they think I'm butthurt and they didn't even care about it. Please reconsider this ban. I know it's very easy to ban me for whatever reason, but, if that's the reason behind this one, out of spite, I guess that's what it is. If discord evidence has to do something with this ban, I would think that should be voided because I don't think saying the n-word or other slurs to someone via discord should warrant a ban, and harassment shouldn't make the cut for it either. (This appeal was posted by @Tim as Don is permanently banned from the forums and cant post his own appeal)
Hi, you have been permanently banned for hate speech as this was your third offense. We would have hoped that you've learnt your lesson from your two previous infractions but it seems like you have not done so. Please note that the evidence provided was via a proper medium and the context in which you were using those words was not acceptable within the terms of the game. We have issued the ban on you not out of spite but simply because what you have said warranted a ban. If you still feel that you wish to add more to your appeal, please feel free to do that because as it stands, there's really no excuse for attempting to circumvent using vulgar words and as stated earlier, this is your third offense and it warrants a permanent ban. However, you are still entitled to an appeal to state your case and convince us otherwise.
You were on OniSan when you called another player a 'c-word'. This was done in the Free Market Entrance so any player who was there could have seen it and reported it. There was no excuse for you to do it in such a public and malicious manner, regardless of your intentions or the reasons for doing so and by doing that, you've opened yourself up to being the subject of a report which led us here.
Don: Well, if you look at the screenshot, I was referencing c-word to the character name chadeol, not calling him a . If you look at the context, replace c-word with chadeol with what I said. I don’t have anything against this person, I was merely just poking fun at him for being in rogue and lurking in the FM channel I was in. Trust me, I wouldn’t purposely put myself at risk knowing there is a rogue member around. I know what my intentions were and I not trying to call the player a nor was I trying to circumvent the word. I hope this goes for a second discussion. I know it’s hard to believe, but, whether you guys think I’m limited in the head or not, that’s based on your minds. I do remember the event as you described and I did not say that with what you assume to be “malicious intentions;” I wasn’t even referencing c-word to , the reference is there.
I understand that you mentioned that you wouldn't have put yourself at risk knowing there is a Rogue member around but what you failed to take into consideration is that you said those words once that person has left the map and there are other people around you who could have reported you for that. This is not a case of whether or not your guard was up, it's whether you know that it is wrong to say such a thing in public. It seems like even you knew not to say such a thing in the presence of the said player, at the risk of being reported. In light of the context of the entire circumstances in which the 'c-word' was used, we have decided that it is improbable for it to have been referring to the player, chadeol, but was in fact the actual 'c-word' that you were attempting to bypass. Upon reviewing the evidence that has been provided to us and looking into your history, we have found that you have a tendency to attempt to bypass racial slurs and/or hateful and/or derogatory words. In this situation, it is apparent that you intended for it to carry an implied meaning and that, to us, is sufficient enough for us to issue another ban on you on the basis of hate speech, which makes it your third and final strike. Therefore, your appeal has been denied and you will remain permanently banned.
