Just went to buy a HTP and no egg dropped. Thankfully they didn't ask me to pay still but is this supposed to happen? Am I just out of luck and have to run again?
I think someone looted the egg by accident cause egg is guarantee drop if not something happens in last patch.

You don't have to start any prequest for HT egg to be visible. Its surely someone else looted the egg and didn't tell it as it is 100% drop rate
Egg is a guaranteed drop. A party experienced the same problem yesterday where there was no egg. They have screenshots (mid air capture) and video of the drops, showing no egg. If you can verify with the rest of your party members that they didn't accidentally loot it, this might actually be a new bug.
A few months ago i needed to go through three runs in ht to get the egg with my bishop. I was not sure if someone else got the egg, since each run was ran from a different pt, but that was a pain in the ***. Only in the third run (where i decided to record) the egg dropped lmao. This is so weird...
Do you by any chance have the recording of it? The screenshot is clear enough but a friend suggested that the egg could have been hidden behind another drop.
The egg isn't a guaranteed drop and this isn't a new bug. There's like a 99.9% chance that egg drops, but very rarely it won't. I think over the 300-400 HTs I've run, 2 or 3 didn't drop egg. Edit: I stand corrected - this has been bugged for at least a few months then.
It's set to be a 100% drop rate. There could be a bug here, so I'll have our developer look into why it may not be dropping sometimes.
same thing happened to me just now I was the only one looting both corner (with back and fort double checking) but did not find the egg
I've noticed a "missing" egg in several of my own HT's where it doesn't initially appear in the video/screenshot. I think this has something to do with the view/draw distance. Notice in your video, you only see Elixir and Power Elixir on the right side when the items are in the air, but when you finally walk over to the right side there are (at least) 3 more items. I'm not certain on the technicalities, but I'd imagine that chunk of map isn't loaded in your client so any items that exist (or will exist after they fall) will not be shown to you. In my experience, the "missing" egg (and even surprise skill-books) has always been found in the corner where the items weren't drawn in the air correctly. I'm not saying there's not a glitch/bug with the egg; but I've always been able to find it. To ensure your video/SS captures every drop, you should walk about halfway past the middle point towards the opposite corner and then make your way back to the middle. This ensures both corners are loaded. P.S. You all just gonna let that Kreda disappear?
I am nearly 100% certain that the egg was not in the corner. As you can see from the mini-map on top left corner, I (purple one) was the only one looting both corner f4
