Hi I want to make a warrior. Would love some help, insights, points of view and feeback from you guys on which warrior should I play! I think Hero might be the best option for me, since it's good for bossing, and don't necessarily need wash the same way Dark Knight does. Pally is also an option. And a good one, since it can act as crash mule in the future. This class seems fun, but it seems a bit slower than hero, regarding the multi target aspect? I like DrK, but it really annoys me the fact that this class struggles to run some end game content because of zerk, such as toad, tokyo, the boss etc (that's a huge downside for me). There's more to have in consideration, but I would love your opinions
Paladin mobbing is very underated when only looking into ACB %s but if you factor in 3+targets with heavens hammer and SE buff its very powerful over time. Even a weak paladin party can HT very quickly due to HH (200k on 3-8 body parts every 20secs). I really only see a huge benefit to hero in CWKPQ, where as paladin single target is beneficial in auf heaven, a lot of HT, toad, shao, and just about every boss other than cwkpq. And NeoTokyo/ToT is paladin heaven. Acb stuns, HH nukes, I'm pretty sure no other class can kill neo mobs faster. Maybe shadower.
You seem like paladin would suit you the best. Also bucc plays almost the same as warriors and even has similar skills (stance,power guard, some sort of improved rush) and is so much stronger, but i dont know if you consider that an option.
I agree. Bucc is def amazing melee option that are affordable and easy to learn for new players. Pally n bucc are the way to go for this guy. *Bucc should wash a little for some things though.
It can heavily depend on the funds you are willing to invest in your new character. If your mind is set on a warrior, I would recommend Pallys or Drks despite owning a Hero. Hero's gameplay can be a bit lackluster late game and their DPS is underwhelming compared to their counterparts. On the bright side, they don't need as many funds invested in them, and their weapons can be easily found or self scrolled. If you are willing to explore other melee options, Buccs are amazing despite the funds needed for wash like mentioned in the posts above me. Every class has its pros and cons so as long as you pick whatever you think is most suitable for your own playstyle, you can't really go wrong!
Thank you all for your help I allrdy have a 188 shadower and he owns the single targ melee carry spot, so I'm looking to play ~mostly for fun~ a multi target melee class. I know bucc is strong and I hear it's fun but their kit doesn't really attract me. Hero kinda completes my character colection since Im lacking a multi target melee character (and this is another reason I don't want bucc) and also it seems cheap and I don't really need to wash, or at least the same way DrK requires to, while being able to run every single boss with no issue so it would be the best choice. hmm I don't share the same opinion. Simply because the damage buff on DrK's won't really do much when you literally can't run properly Toad, Anego, Showa bosses, Auf Haven, etc, due to the need of zerk. I will take the 10% less damage or whatever the damage difference is between the 2 classes anyday, if that allows me to run more (all) bosses other than zak, shao and krex all day. Dark Knight is my favorite warrior but again this class can't run some high end content properly and that really annoys me. While being not that cheap, mandatory to wash compared to hero and pala, I would be missing lots of content, while being expensive. so I really dont see any benefit on picking this guy Considering all this, I'm kinda lost between Pally and Hero. In my opinion paladin rocks at every boss, since all bosses around are pretty much single target based, but not quite sure what class is best regarding HT body @GunzGaming Either way, I think imma go with Paladin
Hmm I have bucc and paladin, I think bucc is a bit better cause it got higher DPS and isn't reliant on SI, and SI+TL are a bit better than crash (cause a lot of people got crash mules). Bucc also got a lot of iframes and long ranged attacks, and is easy to chat+atk cause they atk slow. Also it's more mobile and looks pretty cool Paladin also have some advantages though like being really tanky (you have high HP+guardian/achilles/power guard), being really easy and cheap to wash, having very long freeze with ice charge, having more weapon variety (and cheap weapons too like 1h sword/bw), hammer hitting a lot of mobs at once etc.
Thing is, theres just a few places where multitarget is ictually encouraged Zak Scar+Targa Cwkpq, i will not count HT as the actual difference is not that big between having or not having a drk/hero so it depends on your prefferences by playing,also depends on your fundings and how hardcore ure planning to go.. I mean, at low,mid and early high fundings pally is the best warrior no doubt, but at mid, high high fundings it gets matched by drks and heros(except at auf where pallys always shine and even the best drk/hero in server are barely usefull)
If I had a dollar every time a hero friend said "damn I'm gonna make a paladin now" after whiting them in most HT parts I could afford to buy this server and give hero's a buff. Joking aside. If you want to Auf, Pala and Bucc is king. Krex right test is a scam in terms of paladin DPS, they used gelts and had 65+ at gear. And ACB IS GOOD AT MOBBING. yea not as good as hero, but all hero multi target stuff is low lvl, once you're 180+ I don't think your gonna Zak or scarga for fun anymore, and cwkpq is still good as paladin. Punching the hell out of Margana 200k every hit (holy weak) is hilarious. But like @xTaiga said. Do what you think is fun. Hero's are boring IMO. Pala is diverse, tons of skills, strong AF, and has genesis.
we shouldnt target them as "dumb" since they(nessi and tim) started that thread as 2 OP friends trying to find out who of them had more dps on their hero vs drk,but then 1 thing lent to another, and momo joined, they never named "thread that determine the actual dps of jobs" its "my hero vs your drk" then "x job joins the battle" since at the moment there was no shad as strong as them for example jackharrie joined them, but even being a really strong shad at the time...he was kind of far of them...and sadly the community start to take that thread as the actual dps of jobs making it extremely misleading....btw, no need to re do it just support https://royals.ms/forum/threads/krexels-2nd-eye-dps-thread.177083/#post-1034257 its been alrdy done, sadly it didnt had much support...
Don’t have much else to add but just want to point out that you can absolutely zerk at toad after the Achilles buff Just need to be focused since you may need to manual pot to keep your hp at 14k
That's cool but, toad second body hits 15.5~16k magic dmg so how can you stay at 14k? Not sure how DrK works. Also can't still run tokyo and as I said it's huge downside for me I would love to play Dark Knight over hero and pala but it doesn't seem to be worth to do so.
Achilles tanks 20% of incoming damage, I think ~12.8k is the highest I have gotten hit. So if toad hits 16k to someone w/o Achilles, it will hit you for 80% of that, which is 12.8k... As for whether it's worth it or not, that's up to you... the biggest downsides I'd say is it's very hard to find good Sky Skis, but from what you said, I think Pally might be best option since it's good in almost all content
