I personally get the feeling that if June would've chosen to try to resolve this internally Tim would've gotten his way and her opionion would be swept under the rug, resulting in the same outcome but less actual awareness of the underlying problem. The chance of Staff answering as a united front went out the window as soon as Tim decided to veto whatever the fuck everyone else thought and unbanned his friend, to then strongarm the rest of the Staff into altering the rules with the threat of him leaving if his demands weren't met.

I agree with your initial opinions but we're far past that stage.

in the discord ss it seems like you were insulting her looks and insinuating that she's not physically appealing, doesn't add up here my guy. Maybe you were just riled up by the negative comments you've received, but that doesn't change the fact that in the heat of the moment, you said/did somethings which you shouldn't have. I know that you've privately apologized for your behavior, but if OP chose not to accept your apologies and report you, and you did get banned for, its something that you have to accept and properly appeal against.

my thing about this is that in the end, you should have gone through an official appeal, and not privately message an admin to discuss/obtain the appeal. Through this, it does appear that you received treatment that most players will never receive.

 

I wasn't the one who called him a "corporate parrot" if you were referring to me. And I may have misunderstood his viewpoint, so I apologize for that. I realize he meant he was supporting the review of the rule to see what can be changed and not what Tim wanted.

 

I only quoted you in my post but I was replying to a larger audience. No need to apologize though, I was just trying to clear the air for everyone.

 

Dave, you seem like a real likeable guy and I hope this doesn't rub you the wrong way but you seem really indecisive in this whole matter. How can you say you support the new rules and then say you're open to reverting back to the original format? Isn't part of being a Staff member having a clear morals/opionions and enforcing them in a substantiated way? This really feels like a "I'm good with whatever please don't get angry at me"

 

There lies the problem; you are viewing the rule as how it affects you but not how it affects everyone. The fact that there is going to be a time limit, let alone only 48 hours just speaks for itself how problematic this is for others. In cases of harassment it can take literally years before the victims report their incidents.

Why does she need evidence? from the evidence she posted it's clear that you harassed her now it's you who needs to post counter evidence.

ok all the former stuff members, i think u little bit confused here,
matt hes the owner of the server and he picked timk to administrate his server.
mapleroyals is a succsesful private maplestory server and the result of gtop100 can proof it.
timk got matts premission to do what he wants to cuz he made this community to this far so he can do what ever he think is right for this server.
u did ur jobs because u wanted it and u got removed from stuff cuz u broke the current rules in that time.
now u all crying and hating cuz u got ur power off ur hands? cmon it miserable...
before u got expelled from the stuff iam pretty sure that u liked timk and matt so u knew to where u steping in! stop crying, if i was timk i allready banned u all from the forum too. stop making dramas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.
