I want people to pay attention to this. The biggest complaint that we've seen is she didn't post enough evidence to reflect this users habits. This user has attack Sharon/Ioop(however you spell it) on a shallow level towards their character. He then tried to challenge an allegation knowing that the picture no longer existed as it was dealt with. The more he posts the more he shines how god awful his character is.

Yeah like I Sorry if you felt harassed by my jokes but I still believe you reported me to get revenge, and I believe we were friends that gave permission to each other to do so

 

It seems bizarre that context is so important all of a sudden. All I see here is a clear show of favoritism in the judicial system of Royals when normally, any other player would be serving a sentence.

Other players have been banned for far less, and given no opportunity to appeal with context. - so I ask why is context all of a sudden so important?

 

This is a fucking joke, this person actually harassed a girl/boy/a fucking dog it really doesnt matter, and the Staff itself, the group of people who needs to keep this server clean, puts their foot down to unban this dude and on top of all that, they add rules that makes no sense what so ever, that's some great stuff i gotta tell you

I'm honestly appalled at how many people on this thread are trying to justify these comments. Regardless of his intent, their prior relationship, or her past behavior his words are misogynistic and absolutely harassment. It is not okay. How is this hard to understand?

On top of this, it is absolutely clear in the screenshot she asked him to STOP and he carried on with his comments. We are not jumping to a conclusion and shame on you for trying to defend this.

 

I'm not trying to defend it. I'm pointing out a possibility explanation for his behavior. Context does matter a lot.

She did not ask him to "STOP" she said "stop raony" then "wtf". The comments were really wtf if they were serious, or even joking. The comments he made after her saying "stop, wtf" could have been him continuing with the bad joke or trying to recover, as they were quite dumb. It's also hard to tell via text if her saying "stop raony, wtf" was playful or not depending on the nature of their conversation.

For example, imagine I am in a discord call with my friends and one guy is singing a song that's stuck in his head. I could say "stop singing, you're annoying". But depending on how I say it, it's not harassment for him to continue if he is "trolling" or trying to be funny. Depending on the tone of my voice or what I say, he could get the message if I really mean it. This is just human behavior. Following the same logic, Raony's behavior in saying what he did is definitely more risky (and in my opinion, objectionable) than something like singing a song. But, it's possible he failed to get the message it was really bothering her only based off one comment of "stop raony" "wtf".


I'm saying it's not harassment to make a bad joke, if that's what he was doing. It's questionable and should damage trust, but it's not necessarily harassment. If he continued this behavior and showed a lack of respect, then yes. But context does matter.

No point to discuss, to protect their friend they can say/do the most unrealistic things.

 

GMs and Admins shouldn't have a say in bans regarding friends or partners. That's conflict of interest, yo.
