If possible can we get the stats to be roughly the same on the level 90 to 100 warrior bottoms? https://bbb.hidden-street.net/eq/armours/bottom?class=36 The level 90 and 100 male warrior bottoms have str or dex and acc while the female ones have str and dex no acc. All other classes get roughly the same stats on gear usually with a 1-2 stat difference except for warriors. any feedback on this?
Male warrior here. No thanks. This is a part of the game. Male and female gear have different base stats depending on the job/level. Just how it’s always been and there is no reason why they should be the same.
Care to elaborate? All the gear for other classes that I see on hiddenstreet have the same stats for M/F but with 1-2 difference. The M/F warrior bottom is completely different stat being acc which is useless.
You said it yourself, male and female gear have different stats! Each class and level of gear will be different. The one (level 100 warrior—Neos and Lucida) you’re referencing has accuracy on their bottoms for men but not for women, which have DEX instead. Level 100 male warrior tops also have accuracy, meanwhile level 100 female tops do not, but in turn, female tops possess a higher floor and a higher ceiling on their DEX. Yes, that is correct. It has always been that way. Why should it be changed? There is no reason for it outside of you just wanting different stats on your gear. As somebody who routinely sells warrior gear (talking I have multiple inventories of tops/bottoms that I resell via merchant) I can assure you that plenty of people do care about accuracy and strangely occasionally even DEF when purchasing their item. While I agree, in theory it would have been ideal from purely a damage range perspective for us male warriors to get both STR and DEX as a base stat, there isn’t any reason why we should change what’s been a feature of this game since the very beginning (different stats for different genders, whether that be 1-2 point differences on the same stat, or entirely different stats all together) outside of it being “better” for male warriors, and if we were to do that we’d then need to address any other stat discrepancies between each individual class and their gendered gear out of fairness sake.
Thanks for the quick feedback sir. Main reason I want the change is because it is pointless to have main stats locked behind a gender like this. I do not think any other class has this issue. The other reason is for low to mid range warriors who want to use ST but "lose" 5-9 str because they chose to play male warrior. I will concede one thing about my low to mid range warrior opinion and it is that F warrior bottoms are very expensive compared to M warrior bottoms. So playing F warrior costs a bit to use top/bot where F ovr (clean) is almost unsellable and M ovr (clean) is more expensive and somewhat sellable. But I think ovr is a end game thing not for early / mid due to scarcity. I do not want to generalize to much but I would guess that the people who care about acc and def are possibly end game players looking for 100% perf gear and are buying these stats. Point being I was not thinking about these players when I came up with this idea, I was thinking about impoverished players. I do not think you care about this nor did you imply to but I will mention it anyways because it is one of my main concerns with the item. I do not think this will change the price of the end game M pants long term. Obviously old perf pants might be "worthless" and new perf clean pants price will be high on release but over time there are enough skele sellers that the pants market could go back to a very affordable point due to the large amount of people selling leech on that particular map. This is debatable and I am willing to change my mind though. To reiterate my point this is the reason for my feedback thread. Now mind you, I could have missed some equips but I do not think there is another class with a final equip set discrepancy like this one. If you see any problems with my thinking feel free to give more feedback sir.
I don't think it's worth changing. The best in slot for both genders is the lvl110 blue dragon overall which has no gender restriction.
It's kinda balanced cause male tops/OAs are more common and cheaper than female ones, so while you'd have a weaker bottom the higher stat top makes up for it a bit Also in Thief items the male ones are a lot more common and cheaper
