I understand the situation that I am in and that this is what would be considered a hail mary. I feel that especially in the light of recent events along with the available details, it has become evidently clear that my bans were deserving but unfair in how they occurred along with the category they were placed under (3 offenses for hate speech leading to a permanent ban in one week).

I am so tired of this. I want to make this as quick and easy as possible with evidence to support my side and argue for 2nd and/or 3rd case to be changed to the appropriate minor infraction.

Can you please clarify my 2nd ban (11/23) and third ban (11/27)? The reason/context for the bans specifically

I just wanted to give you a response right away that we will consider this with all things going on currently. You will be given a fair appeal, but we also don't want to rush it and make it too quick. I hope you understand these things do take time to discuss.
To make things clear on our end you understand and accept the 1st ban that was placed on your account November 20th and are just looking for clarity on the 2nd and 3rd bans?

I agree with the first ban for my usage of the N word in all chat

Hi, I apologise for the delay in responding to your appeal. Your appeal has sparked much controversy and we wanted to have a proper discussion about it within Staff to decide on an appropriate outcome for your appeal.

You have been banned for hate speech before, for using a word that we do not tolerate within the server. This appeal is in relation to the following two bans and I shall address them in turn.

We have decided that your ban wherein you referred to a group of people as 'c*nts' shall be classified as a ban for hate speech as it has historically fallen under the hate speech rule in MapleRoyals. This makes it your second ban for hate speech.

You have also referred to another player as a monkey and that was seen to be derogatory to him based on his ethnicity. We have banned you for that as well and have decided that it falls under hate speech as it involves a racist and/or derogatory remark against another player. Therefore, this constitutes your third and final ban for hate speech.

Since your two bans have been affirmed, you will remain permanently banned. Once again, we are sorry for the delay in responding here and we hope that you will get some closure from the conclusion of your appeal. We sincerely thank you for your contribution to the game and for being a part of the community, and wish you the very best in the future.

 

What was the point of telling me to create a ban appeal if you're gonna close it right after? Man if I cared half as much as I did last month I think I'd take the time to expose a few of you but I'm ok for now


Anyone with half a brain will understand that when I used the "c-word" and "m-word" they were not in CONTEXT used as hate speech.
But I'll give you the 2nd one (c-word) since "historically" it was labeled as hate speech

It's amazing how you guys have the full chat history and this is the conclusion you come up with. The dumbass can't even decide himself whether it's hate speech or harassment.

1. In the end it was favoritism and it was you guys looking out for your friends.
2. One player had the power to get someone permanently banned.
3. Don't make me out to be the racist to justify your actions.
