IGN: AIbatross Problem: Missing numerous items Hey folks, I'm looking for some solutions after I lost all my gear and meso to a hacker (I suppose). My character was in a very obscure area and stripped of all valuables. I'm wondering how I can go about recovering anything from it, information, meso, rollback, anything really. The main thing I want to do is to ensure that my account is secure. If I was hacked once how can I make sure it won't happen again as I don't share my passwords and my password and PIC are quiet obscure. I am just coming back to Royals after a little over a year break. Any info or answers will be helpful. Thanks!
Unfortunately, Staff are unable to recover lost items due to being hacked Can only recommend you to update your login info with Control Panel, and also not to use the same login details at other private servers https://royals.ms/controlpanel/
Thanks for the reply, I figured as much. Is there any way to get any more answers on the issue though? After going through some older posts it doesn't seem like an isolated incident during the past year, could there be a possible breach of information? Also, I wonder if an admin could give me a timeline or transaction history to shed some clarity on the issue and maybe find a culprit?
I have spoke with players that gotten their account breached before, 70 to 80% of them told me they do use the same login info on other private servers - which is extremely risk I will forward this thread to an Admin, but I am unable to guarantee he's unable to reveal the account activity status
These types of account breaches usually happen when databases of other online services get leaked or stolen and all the accounts there get tested for login on royals where eventually a hand full, sometimes more, will be successful (like yours). The culprits are long gone and trafficked the profits to other accounts and usually sell off the meso for real money. We don't reimburse anyone for this as your account security is your own responsibility.
