Someone was selling scar/targa service for 80m. I hadnt done the prequest yet so I told them I would pay extra if they helped me with the prequest (90m in total) 10m for the prequest 80 for the scar helmet. Im assuming english isn't the persons first language so there may have been a language barrier? We finish the prequest and kill scarlion, I paid 90m BEFORE we entered and I loot a helmet. They ask me to pay 90m again after i had already paid them, claiming that it was 90m to help complete the prequest and I hadnt paid for the helmet yet. They tried to call me a scammer after that. Just a misunderstanding between you both in my opinion. 10m to do the entire prequest is offensively cheap.
It sounds like it was a miscommunication, but the prequest is kind of long. Why would they volunteer to sell you so much of their time for 10m? It sounds more to me like you scanned them.
You never told them you were only willing to pay 10 million for the prequest. They were silly for not agreeing on an explicit number from the start, but if you think you're in the right, then maybe you're a scammer yourself. The poll just makes you seem immature
Even in GMS they charged 50m to get jump quests done for Zak lmao; you asked this guy to do an entire pre-quest line
You sound like a confrontational douche. They might not speak fluent English but they weren't dumb enough to do your prequests for pocket change. In the end you paid 90m for your preq service and it was completed by the seller. Not a scam.
Back when I was grinding on my Nightlord in 2019, I used to sell prequest service for 40m (sometimes lowering to 30m and also selling prequest etc set for 20~30m) and have the Scarga quest etc ready to trade for the buyer and using my FP mage to do the mob killing along with my duo partner's Bishop (or my HS mule) for door. I also sold helms for 100m Scar / 150m Targa during that time too (good times before Buccs solo'ing Scar or Targa started selling for cheap...). In my opinion, 10m is way too cheap but 90m is way too high for a prequest service that doesn't take that much effort in comparison to helping someone get Horntail Dragon Elixir and then with HTPQ. If these guys tried to smega selling Scarga prequest service for 90m, no one would whisper them. I think you should have paid them more for prequest service rather than only 10m but it seems like you guys weren't on the same page. In my opinion, there's nothing you can do and you'll just have to walk away and make note to have clear terms between you and the seller next time you buy a service (or selling service to a buyer).
