    Hi there,

Trying to play royals after a while.

I'm starting up the game and nothing happens for a solid 5 minutes. I get no error or anything and it just removes the .exe file.
I've had this before and adding the file to my firewall (windows standard firewall) solved it. However, this time it doesnt.

I even shut down my entire firewall and defender and it still removes the .exe file.

    Any ideas?

    anti virus problem
delete the game, turn off anti virrus. install the game and b4 turning on the anti virus, make an exception folder to the game so it wont scanned it
all the PCs read royals as a threat. but its fine

Sadly none of the above is working :(

I even shutdown my windowsdefender but its still not working.

    2 things happen:

    - When I give mapleroyals.exe an exeption in windows firewall nothing happens. Its not opening anything but also not removing anything
    - When I dont give it an exeption it removes the .exe file..

I really have no clue what to do now

    • Have you made the folder an exception as well?
    • Has Windows Defender quarantined the file? Windows Security > Virus & threat protection > Protection history
You need to try a clean install of the game. Uninstall and re-download it. Keep an eye on the above and see if it throws anything into there during the install. Make sure you have the correct exceptions, Folder and .exe

All I can think of at this stage

I somehow am not able to do an exeption for the entire folder. Windows firewall only allows me to do an exception for mapleroyals.exe, ASPlnchr and unins000
