LVL 30 Thief Job Advancement: MP washing character; keep missing attacks

So I'm trying to HP wash a sin for the first time because it seems fun. I'm following a guide on how to HP/MP wash, but that really means I'm playing an INT thief for a while. Finally reached lvl 30 and tried to job advance, but all my attacks are missing while inside. None of the guides ever mentioned that...so did I screw up my thief's stats? I have base 25 DEX, 100 INT, 41 LUK. Accuracy is determined by DEX right? so wouldn't regular DEXless rouges have trouble advancing to their second job advancement? I just need clarification on what I should do, if anyone is kind enough to explain it to me T_T I was thinking maybe I can AP reset and move my INT to DEX for the time being, but how much DEX would I need to add to at least hit them more than 50%. I can hit them but maybe 0.05% of the time.

 

Try buying Maple Pops, they're +100 accuracy and around 500K each. Coupled with an attack pot like Heartstoppers, you should be able to kill the 2nd job mobs fine

 

If you want to, for future uses, make another regular lv 30 thief purely to help yourself or others to pass 2nd job quest. Yes, you can bring another first job thief doing job advancement with you. No, that character does not need to complete the advancement, so you can use it forever.
